Research Fields and Cross-Cutting Topics

In the Research Field of Mechanism Theory and Kinematics, the innovative Application of Methods for Mechanism and Motion Technology is researched.

Machine Dynamics and Vibration Technology develops and applies Procedures and Methods for simulation-based Dynamic Design and Optimization of Mechanical Systems.

In Robotics and Mechatronics, Robot Systems and Automation Processes are researched, further developed and optimized. The main focus is on parallel, serial and hybrid industrial robots and autonomous mobile platforms.

The Cross-Cutting Topics serve all Research Fields of the IGMR and enable Cross-Domain Research.
