Abstract
This dissertation presents a concept for the reduction of vibrations in mechatronic motion systems. This concept tends to achieve an agreement between, on the one hand, the quality of the technical relevant motion and, on the other hand, the economically relevant aspects of light weight construction and achievable operating speed. The main focus is on the design of motion systems consisting of an electrical drive with closed loop control and a non-uniform transmitting mechanism with elastic parts. For this category of systems the design steps and methods of calculation from the fields of mechanism theory, control theory as well as theory of vibration are merged to an integrative and interdisciplinary Design of the total system. The consideration and utilisation of the interaction between the systems components is significant. The required knowledge of the components properties and their affect to the total systems behaviour as well as the knowledge of the suitable design approaches is presented. Additionally tools and methods for the integrative Design are presented. This is done, on the one hand, on the scale ob abstract algebraic system equations. The equations are analysed and classified with respect to their structural properties. The knowledge of the systems class is the key to the applicability of certain methods of vibration reduction and to the transfer of these methods to systems not being in the focus of this dissertation. On the other hand, additional to the abstract considerations, the application and effectiveness of several methods is demonstrated for simple example systems and is verified on a crank mechanism test plant. Besides this work refers to literature with deepening theory, additional applications and modified proceedings for each design step. An decisive constituent of the presented concept is the usage of an integrated tool chain for the system design (computer algebra, multi body simulation, finite element method and dynamics simulation). The goal-oriented application of well-established software facilitates the scientists and design engineers access to the expert knowledge and to the complex methods of developing mechatronic motion systems. All in all this work presents a concept that is capable of the practical demands during the design process. It comprises instructions which concrete calculations have to be done at each design step as well as a tool chain for the automated execution of the calculations for a wide variety of systems.
