Small Group Exercise Matlab (GMSD and DMKS)

Dynamics of machines and structural dynamics deals with the investigation of causes and effects of time-varying forces and torques in machines. The mathematical treatment of dynamic problems helps to describe occurring phenomena and aims to reduce or eliminate unwanted effects.

In the offered small group exercises problems are solved with the help of the simulation software MatLab and two of its toolboxes Simulink and SimMechanics. Following programm-specific contents are taught:

  • Introduction to the program MatLab
  • Programming of Scripts
  • Modeling with Simulink
  • Modeling with SimMechanics
  • Analysis and Interpretation of Results

The exercises cover most of the topics taught in Dynamics of Machines.

 

The small group exercise is only offered in German language.
